Paris Henry County Arts Council Appoints New Executive Director Caleb Grissom

PARIS – The Paris Henry County Arts Council has named Caleb M. Grissom as the new Executive Director. 

A native of Henry County, Caleb brings a wealth of professional experience, a passion for the arts, and fresh ideas to further the mission of the Paris Henry County Arts Council (PHCAC). Previously employed by Commercial Bank, Volunteer Lending, and currently also serving as the Executive Assistant to the President at L.I. Smith & Associates, Caleb also serves on the Board of Directors at the Paris Henry County Heritage Center and served on the Paris Henry County Bicentennial Committee. 

As Executive Director, Caleb will oversee and promote the practice and appreciation of the arts for the development of our community. The Executive Director plans, coordinates, and executes a wide range of arts-related events and activities to enrich the cultural life of our community. 

Jessi Smith, Board Secretary says “As a current Board of Directors Member for the Arts Council, Caleb has shown that his passion for the arts and our community is unmatched. We are very excited to implement his ideas and see where the Arts Council can go with Caleb at the helm. We are thrilled to welcome him as the Executive Director.”

The Paris Henry County Arts Council promotes and encourages the practice and appreciation of various art forms, including music, sculpture, painting, drawing, theatre, creative writing, dance, film, photography, architecture, design, crafts, and environmental arts. It assists organizations in bringing quality art exhibits and performances to the community and encourages local to create original art. We are committed to working with civic groups to promote arts in the community, bringing art events into all area public schools, bringing financial support to the arts from both the public and private sectors, sharing news pertaining to the arts to our community, coordinating community arts events and programs, as well as providing a platform for local artists to showcase their work.
